Born in Colombia, raised in the U.S., and shaped by a decade in Europe with my Belgian husband and our son, I’ve experienced the beauty of blending cultures, ideas, and traditions. Sol Shine is a celebration of that: we are all a little bit of everything, connected by the threads of humanity.

Sol Shine is also a tribute to my dear friend, Kelly Heimsath, who passed away in 2024 from colorectal cancer. Her legacy inspires our mission to live with kindness, spread positivity, and encourage everyone to prioritize their health. She believed in being kind every day—extra points for kindness to strangers—and we carry that message forward in her honor.
